Magpies Women's 2s returned to the nest to continue with their unbeaten run of games and 3 wins on home ground.
Both sides started with intensity, playing and moving the ball well. Magpies stepped up their pressure with the forward line unlucky to convert.
The score at half time was 0-0.
Not long after half time, Magpies got their breakthrough. A quick free hit was taken and Debbie passed a long ball through to Laura who used her skills to put the ball past the keeper.
Magpies continued to maintain possession, attacking down the right hand side to create more scoring opportunities. Another quick free hit and a drive along the baseline by MOM Mia, gave Flo the opportunity to slot the ball in on the back post; a great start to her debut in the 2s.
The game finished 2-0 and a clean sheet on the board after some vital saves from Catherine.
The 2s travel to top of the table Bishop Stortford and hope to keep their unbeaten run alive.
