Preseason Guide For Teamo

Starting the New Season with Teamo

A new season brings fresh energy, new opportunities—and yes, a bit of admin. But don’t worry, Teamo makes it easy to get your club set up and running smoothly in just a few steps. Whether you're a manager, coach, player, or guardian, here’s everything you need to know to kick off the season right.

Creating Your New Season

To create a new season:

  • Head to Manage Club > Manage Club Products
  • Click Create New Season in the top right corner
  • Set your season dates and choose whether to make the season live immediately

Note: If you don’t set the season live, only admins can view and manage it until you do. Everyone else continues working in the previous season. Please archive the previous season before setting the new season live!

Copying Products from Previous Seasons

No need to start from scratch:

  • Head to Manage Club > Manage Club Products
  • Select Copy Products
  • Choose the season you want to copy from, then edit names, prices, or concessions as needed

Moving Players Up an Age Group

Time to promote those rising stars!

Use the Team Migration Tool to move players into new squads:

  • Go to Manage Club > Member’s Center
  • Select Team Migration Tool from the right-hand menu
  • Watch our tutorial video if you want a walkthrough

 Guardians are automatically linked to the child’s team—no need to reassign them.

Want to Add New Registration Questions?

Good news! Member registration answers carry over automatically, so no one needs to fill them out again unless they want to update something. However, yearly declarations are still required and will be prompted once the new season is live.

Admins can:

  • Go to Manage Club > Registration
  • Click Review Registration Questions > Add Question
  • Toggle your new question(s) live so members are prompted next time they view the form

Optional: Season Opt-In

Want players to confirm if they’re returning?

  • Go to Manage Club > Edit Club Details
  • Choose Season Opt-in and select the season
  • Members will be asked to confirm when they open their app

To track who’s opted in, go to the Member’s Center—a green tick means they’re back for another round!

Archiving the Old Season & Activating the New One

Ready to make the switch? Follow these steps to archive your old season and launch the new one:

Navigate to: Manage Club > Manage Club Products

Archive the Old Season: Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner > Select Archive Season

Select Your New Season: Use the drop-down menu next to the season title > Choose your newly created season

Edit Season Settings (if needed): Click the three-dot menu again > Select Edit Current Season to rename or adjust any settings

Go Live: Once everything is set, make sure to Set Season Live so members can start registering, paying, and participating

This transfers all teams, groups, and registration answers to the new season.

Important: Once the new season is live, you can’t go back to issue payments in the old one. However, all previous payments and products stay visible in history.
