Club Bulletin: December

Message from Becca: Before we all switch off for Christmas, I wanted to ask for input from all members and parents/guardians on two important things please. 

As usual at this time of year, we ask all members and parents/guardians to complete our  Club Survey. It only takes a few minutes and your feedback helps the committee understand what you like about the club and how we could improve it for current and future members. Please complete the  Club Survey ASAP but no later than 12th January 2025. 

We have updated our Club Development Plan for the next 2-3 years, as part of our ClubMark re-accreditation by England Hockey. 

We wanted all members to have the opportunity to see the plan and offer their own suggestions and comments.

The purpose of the Club Development Plan is to set out how we will:

• Attract new members
• Retain existing members
• Develop players and umpires
• Sustain the club.

Please review the Club Development Plan and let us have any feedback - reply to the email sent on 21st December or via any member of the committee.

Now that we have a good basis for the plan, we need a Development Officer to monitor progress and update the plan from time to time. Could you help?

We also welcome volunteers to support any part of the plan that they are interested in - however small that support might be!
