Member survey results

Thank you to the 30 people who responded to the club's Member Survey around Christmas.

The committee have reviewed your feedback which is summarised below.

Although the number of respondents was low and there were disparate views given, the main themes for improvement appear to be:

• Umpiring: shortage of experienced, qualified umpires
• Selection: most are satisfied with transparency/fairness - but not all
• Respect: respect not shown consistently to umpires or to paying on time
• Training/coaching: most are satisfied but not all; various different views offered
• Recruitment: need to grow the adult and junior sections
• Social: need more social engagement, including post match-socials and with parents/guardians
• Volunteers: strong recognition of the contribution of volunteers at the club

The results will contribute to the thinking on a new Club Development, led by our Development Officer (Paul Boon). If anyone would like to contribute to this, please get in touch!
