As mentioned in the January Club Bulletin, we remain desperately short of umpires for home matches.
We have therefore decided to offer to pay visiting umpires and club umpires (equally) to access a wider pool of umpires and incentivise more club members to umpire!
We will pay the following rates to umpires: (as of Saturday 13th January 2024)
Captains can continue to assign £0 match fees to club players who umpire on the same day as part/full payment. Umpires can use the form below to claim the balance if they choose to.
Thank you to those club umpires who generously choose not to claim some/all payment for umpiring - enabling a considerable saving for the club.

The form can be used by visiting umpires, club umpires and also club captains (the latter for reimbursement of direct payments they have made to a visiting umpire).
The club would like to encourage and support adult and (especially) junior members who want to take the umpire training - please get in touch if you’re interested.
