We are looking for volunteers to take on key roles in running the club next season. Could you take on one of the roles? Or even provide some occasional support?
Interested? If so, please contact Paul Boon, Louise Broome, Jim Garside or any of the committee for an exploratory chat. Training and support will be provided for all roles. Parents very welcome too!
Plans and runs social events to benefit members and raise club funds (and/or volunteers to lead a single event)
Shares the latest club news, events via club emails, notifications and website news. Ideal for a budding journalist or enthusiastic writer.
Supports and helps develop new and existing adult and junior umpires
Taking committee meeting and AGM minutes, actions; managing club affiliation and correspondence.
Supports captains, committee and members with the effective operation of Teamo and the club website (no IT or technical experience required!)
Operates the club’s disciplinary policy, including investigating occasional complaints
Manages the club’s safeguarding and welfare responsibilities, a key contact for members to raise Welfare concerns - needed for both Men's and Ladies sections
Leads fundraising for the second pitch, including seeking commercial or individual investors and donations.
