The Rovers have gone from strength to strength this season, dominating our East League competition and consistently coming home with big score lines. An influx of freshers has brought new life to the team and has enabled us to consistently field a full team. The annual game against Oxford was hard fought, and so despite a narrow 1-0 loss, really showcased the rovers’ talent. The rovers did not let the loss get them down, and in the second half of this season really focussed on claiming the East League title. The last few games of the season saw the rovers achieve this goal, beating out Cam City to the East League title, with a total of over 100 goals, securing back-to-back promotions for the Rovers as we head into Division 3 North West next year.
