The best place to park at Southampton Sports Centre is the main car park on Thornhill Rd, Bassett, Southampton, SO16 7AY or Triangle Parking at 5 Lordswood Gardens, Southampton, SO16 6RY.
We share the sports centre with various orther sports clubs including footballs teams, cricket teams and netball teams, many of which play games and host tournaments at the same time as our league fixtures. This means that parking often reaches its capacity, particularly early and late in the season when netball tournaments are frequent. Thornhill Road offers some additional on street parking, but we recommend visitors ride share where possible and leave extra time to find a space.
The all weather pitches are located down the hill from the main car park, past the netball pitches and just beyond the changing rooms. Please consult the whiteboard outside the changing rooms to find which pitch you will be playing on. Please do not enter the cage until any previous matches have finished.
Changing rooms, showers, and toilet facilities are located in the building next to the pitches. Please consult the whiteboard or ask a member of staff in the booth which changing room has been allocated to your team. Changing rooms are not locked during matches and as such, we recommend that you bring any kit and valuables pitchside, or leave them at home where possible.
Post-match teas are served at The View at the top of the hill, next to the main car park.
Our pitchside stand has been removed in preparation for construction work on a new clubhouse and changing facilities. There are some benches at either end of both pitches for those that wish to sit and watch. We kindly ask that spectators not directly involved in the game remain outside the cages once matches have commenced.
