As the cricket season approaches, it’s time to gear up and get your club’s administration in order. Efficient planning and setup can save valuable time and ensure a smooth start for players, staff, and administrators. Here are some top tips to get your new season off to a flying start.
Before you activate the new season, ensure the previous one is archived. This is critical, as Teamo does not allow clubs to have multiple seasons live simultaneously. If you skip this step, Teamo’s support staff will need to step in, which could lead to delays. Archiving ensures your club’s data is organised and ready for a fresh start.
Streamline your setup by copying products from the previous season. Here’s how:
Want to know which players are returning this season? Enable a Season Opt-In option. This feature prompts players to confirm their participation for the upcoming season.
To enable Season Opt-In:
Players will see a pop-up when they open the app, asking if they wish to opt into the new season. As an admin, you can track responses in the Members’ Centre, where a tick next to a player’s name indicates their opt-in status.
For junior teams, use Teamo’s Team Migration tool to move players into the appropriate age groups effortlessly. You can also manage team allocations using the Squad Allocation or Deallocator features.
Visit the Team Migration Help Page for a detailed guide.
Save time by uploading all fixtures at once. Teamo’s importing tool allows you to plan the entire season with ease.
Here’s how to bulk upload fixtures:
This feature ensures your team’s calendar is up-to-date with minimal effort.
Take a moment to review your registration forms for accuracy and completeness.
To add new questions:
Players’ existing registration data carries over, but any new questions will be displayed immediately.
Ensure your membership structure is clear and payments are correctly configured:
This step guarantees a hassle-free payment process for both administrators and members.
