These insights will help you unlock the full potential of Teamo for your treasury management.

Key Tips for the Payment Centre

Regularly Monitor Membership Status - Make it a habit to check the Memberships section frequently. This will help you stay on top of who has paid and who hasn’t, allowing for timely follow-ups with members who are overdue.

Utilise Autopay Options - Encourage members to acknowledge autopay. This not only ensures consistent cash flow for the club but also reduces the administrative burden of tracking payments - read more on autopay HERE!

Edit Invoices as Needed - Familiarise yourself with the invoice editing feature. If a member has an an error on their invoice, quickly resolve it by selecting the user, clicking the three dots, and choosing “Edit.”

Filter Match Fees Efficiently - Use the filtering options to narrow down match fees by specific fixtures or club sections. This targeted approach helps you identify payment issues more efficiently and allows for tailored communications with members.

Generate and Review Financial Reports - Take advantage of the financial reporting capabilities. Regularly generate reports that summarise payments through different channels (BACS, Stripe, etc.) to get a clear overview of the club’s financial health. Use these insights to plan budgets and manage expenses effectively.

Key Tips for Club Products

Products for Specific Groups - When creating or editing products, make sure to designate them as required for specific teams. This ensures that the right members are prompted to make necessary purchases.

Update Team Requirements - Don’t forget to verify that the Membership Requirement section at the bottom of the memberships section includes all relevant teams. Keeping this updated is crucial for accurate communication and compliance among members.

Scheduled Instalment Product - Set a scheduled date for instalment products so all members' payments come out on the same day. You can also set this as periodic where users can select the date they wish it to come out!

Include Minimum Age Tool - Turn on this toggle to restrict membership purchases based on age. This feature helps ensure that users select the appropriate membership type. It's especially beneficial for clubs with distinct categories like Seniors and Juniors!

Key tips for Payment Accounts

Activate Autopay with Limits - Enable the autopay feature for seamless transactions, but be sure to set a payment limit. This ensures that you maintain control over financial transactions and payments can be taken accordingly.

Link Your Payment Processing Accounts - Integrate your Stripe or GoCardless accounts to streamline payment processing. This setup allows for direct deposits into your account when users purchase products, simplifying financial management.

Connect Payments to Products - Once your payment accounts are linked, ensure that they are associated with the appropriate products. This connection helps track revenue accurately and facilitates smooth transactions for members.

Access Team Payments Easily - Navigate to your profile icon and select “Team Payments” to quickly access detailed records of product purchases, including memberships, merchandise, fines, social tickets, and training payments.

Monitor Individual Payments - Use the tool to review payment statuses for specific individuals. This feature is invaluable for identifying members who may be overdue on their payments.

Filter by Team -Take advantage of the filtering options to view payments by specific teams. This helps you pinpoint which teams may have issues with membership purchases or late payments, enabling targeted communication.

Teamo Lottery:

Sign Up Your Club - Register your club to gain access to a fully branded lottery page and payment gateway, making it easy for members to participate.

Highlight Guaranteed Winners - Emphasise that every draw guarantees a winner within your club based on member count, enhancing participation motivation.

Communicate Monthly Benefits - Remind members that the lottery provides a steady income stream for your club year-round, supporting vital programs and activities.
