Y1 Club Shop

National league players who wear base layers must ensure that the colour of the base layer matches the outer layer.

Below national league it is preferred that base layers match, but there is not an absolute requirement that they do.

Women and girls can wear shorts or skort.

How to get a Club Number

Allocation of club shirt numbers is managed by Laurie Humphrey. Please email kit@cambridgecityhc.org to obtain a club number if you do not already have one. Or contact Laurie via the contact card below. Please include the team you currently play for.

As a club, we want to keep costs down for parents. Therefore, we have tried to keep mandatory kit to a minimum on the junior side & provide the numbered shirts for our fixtures.

Training Kit

The youth section sells great value, branded, training Ts and hoodies which most of our players wear, but this isn't mandatory - kit should be comfortable and appropriate for the weather conditions.

We do ask though that players DO NOT wear school branded sports kit.

Our CCHC Training T-shirts and hoodies are available to order in Teamo.

Match kit

Required by all players

Shorts or Skort - navy. Girls can choose to wear either shorts or a skort.
Red socks - Home
White socks - Away

Players do not have to have CCHC branded shorts/skorts and socks (these can be generic). However, do check out the Y1 kit shop. The quality is excellent and kit is responsibly sourced.

Match Shirts

U12, U14, U16, & U18s

Numbered match shirts will be provided for age group fixtures, so you don't need to buy a numbered club shirt unless you are playing senior hockey (or wish to have one).

U6, U8, & U10s

Except at the end of year In2 competitions (when we provide numbered shirts), our younger age groups play their matches in our red training Ts.
New joiners in U6, U8 & U10 will receive their first training T-shirt free upon joining Cambridge City HC.
Ts are available for purchase in Teamo (see above).
A generic red shirt will also be fine for fixtures.

Senior Fixtures

Youth players who are playing senior hockey regularly, will need to buy a numbered club shirt (home & away). These are available to purchase online via the Y1 Club Shop
Lead time is good ~ 10 working days

How to get a club shirt number

If you are playing senior hockey, you will need a shirt number. You will keep the same shirt number during your time with the club.
