All good things must come to an end and at some point the M6s were going to lose a game. On balance, Ely were the better side, possibly helped by the fact that all of their players were 20/30 year olds!

With only two players under fifty/fifteen it was always going to be a bit of a slog but City played well in parts. Maks and Ben looked dangerous when attacking as did some of the older players.

At one point City were level at 2-2 but legs tired, and a city card resulted in a well taken goal by the home side. This loss combined with last week's draw means that the M6s are now second in the league but full of good spirits as we approach the final leg of the season.
