Welcome to Wilberforce Road Sports Ground, home of Cambridge City Hockey Club.   

The last few years have been difficult for many of us, but at CCHC, we have been focusing on helping people get back onto the pitch. That has included organising a number of summer leagues with other local clubs, developing our Youth Section (now well over 450 members between the ages of 4 and 18) and promoting Back-to-Hockey, Walking Hockey and Flyerz. It is fantastic to see so many people playing hockey again!

Having played two of the top 3 in the last couple of matches, City will be hoping for a fang-tastic performance to get them out of the graveyard slot of the table. They could go above winless Surbiton, who themselves have only managed two draws so far this spooky season. It could be said that both teams have had a frightening start to the campaign and will be aiming to find their severed feet in the league.

Last season, Surbiton picked up all 6 points when these two teams met, winning 1-0 in Cambridge and then 2-0 in the capital, but if recent results are anything to go by, we could be in for a ghoul-fest and a very exciting game in the cauldron like atmosphere of Wilberforce Road.
